Public Boat Launch Information
Overview
Are you a boater? Lake Stevens makes it easy to use either of its public boat launches. The North Cove boat launch is located right in the heart of downtown at 12200 17th PL NE, just a block south of City Hall. The Davies Beach boat launch is located at the intersection of N Davies Road and Chapel Hill Road. Both are two-lane launches, with ADA-accessible docks, and North Cove offers an ADA-accessible boat loading area. So, if you are ready to take advantage of some great boating, tasty fish, and sunbeams, there’s no better place.
All parking at boat launches is paid parking; vehicles must park in designated parking spaces.
- Annual Passes are available for purchase at City Hall and at the kiosk for $75/year, $60/year for Lake Stevens residents. The City of Lake Stevens annual pass is accepted at both launches.
- Boat launch passes that are lost or stolen cannot be replaced, a new pass will need to be purchased. Contact the City of Lake Stevens Park Department at (425) 622-9406 to report the lost or stolen pass.
Fees collected for day use fees and annual passes go towards maintain the boat launch and parking areas. This includes cleaning, operating and maintaining the restrooms, parking lot and boat launch area
North Cove Beach Launch
North Cove boat launching is a $10/day fee and offers a $5/per three-hour short-term parking option.
- Passes accepted:
- City of Lake Stevens annual pass
- Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife Vehicle Access Pass, or Washington State Disabled Veterans Pass Card.
Davies Beach Boat Launch
Davies Beach boat launching is a $10/day fee and offers a $5/per three-hour short-term parking option.
- Passes accepted:
- City of Lake Stevens annual pass
- Washington State Disabled Veterans Pass Card.
Please display your pass clearly on your mirror or dash.
Boat Launch Parking Violation Penalties
Per LSMC 7.12.090, failure to park in designated vehicle spaces (i.e. a car parked in boat trailer parking) and/or failure to display valid permit or receipt for paying day use fees will result in a $100 parking violation citation issued by the Lake Stevens Police Department.
- All citations are directed to the Marysville Court for processing.
- Citations will be issued for non-payment of fees.
