Lake Stevens City Council is evaluating alternatives to form a Transportation Benefit District to provide additional revenue for transportation projects. Many cities in Washington have already established Transportation Benefit Districts to generate revenue for projects that include street overlays, sidewalks, crack sealing, maintenance and safety improvements. 

The City is holding a public hearing on December 18, 2018 at 7:15 pm at the Lake Stevens School District Education Service Center (Admin. Building) 12309 22nd Street NE to received public comment regarding the proposed Transportation Benefit District Ordinance No. 1043.
