If you are looking for an opportunity to provide input to the city and community at large, volunteering on the Library Board or Veterans Commission may be that opportunity.  The City's boards and commissions meet regularly to review and discuss topical matters and make recommendations to Council.  the Library Board is responsible for working with SnoIsle Libraries to determine the Library needs of the citizens of the community.  The Veterans Commission works to provide opportunities for the many veterans and active duty enlisted personnel, and their families, who live in our community, including promoting veteran owned businesses and businesses that hire veterans, promoting public awareness of the veteran culture, and identifying resources available to support and assist resident veterans.
