Our community has been greatly affected by suicide. The pain stretches deep and wide within our neighborhoods, schools, and businesses. The Run For Your Life Suicide Awareness Run/Walk was born out of a deep sense of wanting to help as many people as possible struggling with depression or negative thoughts of suicide or mental health issues.   

On Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 9 am - 3 pm, Lake Stevens will host this event in the Run for Your Life Suicide Awareness Event in Old Town Lake Stevens. This event includes a 1 mile, 5k, and 10k run, food trucks, vendors, and more.  There will be road closures on Main Street and one-way traffic westbound on North Lakeshore Dr. for a half-lane closure from 8 am to 11 am for the runners.
