[ARCHIVED] Welcome To Our New Police Chief, Jeff Beazizo!

commander beazizo

On August 18, 2021, Deputy Chief Jeff Beazizo became the new Chief of Police for the City of Lake Stevens. Chief Beazizo will replace retiring Chief John Dyer, who has served the city for the past five years, a fitting ending to his law enforcement career that spanned almost four decades in the states of Washington and Colorado.

As Chief, Beazizo wants to continue the city’s emphasis on community-based policing through professional police services, organizational excellence, and community interaction. He wants to focus on hiring, training, and retaining professional and well-trained officers, providing the residents of Lake Stevens with proactive and trustworthy police services. Recently accredited by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs in 2020, Beazizo intends to preserve those high standards and work to retain the sought-after accreditation.

Chief Beazizo will be sworn in next week.
