The Cascade Award honors those who have a beautiful, sustainable, lake-friendly garden or landscape. If you’re proud of your own lake-friendly yard or know someone who is, please submit their names for the Cascade Award! 

All residents of the city of Lake Stevens play a role in the health of our lake and are eligible for this award.  One does not need to live on the lake's edge to qualify. With our current public health crisis, our gardens are probably getting extra special attention, show them off!

Visit the Snohomish Conservation District's I Love Lake campaign page for more information and check out previous winners' gardens.  The nomination deadline is July 15th, 2022; award finalists and the winner will be announced at an outdoor event at the city's North Cove Park in August.
