On June 28, 2022, the City Council approved Ordinance 1140 adopting the 2019 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington. Ordinance 1140 amends Lake Stevens Municipal Code 11.06.030 to require all development applications that meet the following criteria to adhere to the requirements outlined in the 2019 Stormwater Manual. Development applications submitted:
- On or after July 1, 2022;
- Prior to January 1, 2017, that have not started construction by January 1, 2022; and
- Prior to July 1, 2022, that have not started construction by July 1, 2027.
