At the October 11th City Council meeting, Mayor Brett Gailey, on behalf of the Lake Stevens City Council, read the proclamation into the record, that October 16 -22, 2022 is proclaimed as Friends of Libraries Week in Lake Stevens.  The community is urged to join the Friends of the Lake Stevens Library.  They raise money that enables the library to move from good to great -- providing the resources for additional programming, much-needed equipment, support for children’s summer reading, and special events throughout the year.
