A recent inspection of the bridge over Catherine Creek on 36th Street NE shows deterioration on the northeast corner of the bridge. As a precautionary measure, the City is closing the westbound lane over the bridge and restricting access over the bridge to one lane until further notice. Temporary signals will be installed to safely direct traffic over the bridge. The bridge will also be restricted to a 15-ton load limit for the time being. This revised traffic pattern will be in effect starting today, March 7, 2024, until a repair on the bridge can be implemented.
