During routine monitoring of the city’s lake on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, evidence of algae was noticed in the water. The City has identified some of the algae are a species which may create toxins, and notifying the community so citizens will be aware.
At this time, water samples have been sent to a lab to test for toxins.
The City will update the community with the test finds as soon as possible. Please use caution in the meantime.
