Mayor's Office

• On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, 11 am - 1 pm, and Monday, January 20, 2025, 9 am - 11 am, community members are invited to join Mayor Brett Gailey at Starbucks (next to MOD Pizza) at Frontier Village in Lake Stevens. Bring your questions or comments and chat over your favorite beverage with the Mayor. It's a casual setting providing the perfect opportunity to get to know your Mayor while discussing city-related topics that are important to you.

Human Resources

• We are hiring Police Officers to fill current vacancies and have an expedited hiring process for entry level, entry level advanced, and lateral officers. • The city is hiring for the position of Maintenance Worker- Storm. This position performs a variety maintenance, operation, and repair tasks to streets, surface water facilities, buildings, structures and other facilities. • In partnership with the Community Emergency Response Team, the city is hosting a FREE, three-day Community Emergency Response Team Training at The Mill in Lake Stevens on February 11 - 13, 2025, from 8 am - 5 pm. Parks and Recreation

• The City held a ribbon cutting ceremony for completion of the Bayview Trail - Phase 0 construction project, at West Lake Park, last Monday, January 6, 2025. The ceremony included remarks from city officials, and ribbon cutting. This project is the first step in connecting our community to the city of Marysville with a non-motorized trail.  Future elements will be a dog park opening in spring 2025.
