- Stormwater runoff is one of the biggest challenges facing our local waterways. When rainwater flows over roads, driveways, and rooftops, it picks up pollutants like oil, fertilizers, and pet waste, carrying them directly into our streams and Lake Stevens. This can harm aquatic life, degrade water quality, and contribute to flooding issues. The city launched a discussion space to hear from you! Visit the city’s Water Quality Engagement page to participate: https://lakestevenswa.civilspace.io/.../lake-stevens... Your insights will help guide our education and outreach efforts, ensuring that our programs address real community concerns. Jump into the conversation and help us create a cleaner, healthier future for Lake Stevens!
- Did you know every raindrop that falls on our streets and sidewalks has a journey? Raindrops can carry more than just water on its way to our lakes and streams. Join us as we explore how the City of Lake Stevens is working to manage stormwater runoff and protect the health of our community and environment by visiting: https://lakestevenswa.civilspace.io/en/projects/stormwater-management-program
