  • On August 14, 2025, the City of Lake Stevens had the honor of hosting a Legislative Reception. We invited valued members from our State and Federal legislators’ offices as well as our local business and non-profit leaders. The city looks forward to continuing to build relationships and engage in legislative advocacy so Lake Stevens can continue to grow and thrive. Public Works

  • Did you know there are three separate projects happening in downtown Lake Stevens? This is why you may have noticed different construction crews and timelines. Let’s break down the projects: 1. Lake Stevens Sewer District completed the gravity main portion of their work downtown earlier this year. They are currently finalizing the design and final construction of the force main portion of the project with upgrades along 20th Street NE. 2. City of Lake Stevens streetscape and road improvement project. The fresh asphalt you may have seen cut is to install decorative crosswalks. This is one of the final steps before completion. Visit https://www.lakestevenswa.gov/655/Main-Street-Improvements for more information. Lake Stevens Sewer District is upgrading a sewer pump station on 20th Street NE and should finish their 20th Street NE infrastructure work soon. Contact the Lake Stevens Sewer District for project updates. Thanks for your patience as these projects wrap up. The end result will be a much-improved downtown for everyone to enjoy.
