Playground communication boards will be installed at three playgrounds. The City of Lake Stevens invites you to the ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 4:30 pm at Lundeen Park. 

The communication boards will facilitate communication for individuals who are non-verbal communicators, as well as those who speak different languages, providing a way to for expressing themselves and engage in play with others. The playgrounds at Frontier Heights Park and North Cove Park will also have communication boards installed in the near future. The City recognizes our diverse population and is installing these boards to help foster communication and play for everyone.
