At the May 20, 2025 City Council Meeting, it was voted to transfer ownership of Cavalero Hill Park from Snohomish County to the City of Lake Stevens. Effective October 20, 2025, the City has taken ownership and management of the park.

Over the next few weeks, signage, marketing and other transferables will be updated from the Snohomish County branding to the City's branding.
