[ARCHIVED] STAGE 1 FIRE SAFETY BURN BAN IN EFFECT

Burn Ban in Effect

STAGE 1 FIRE SAFETY BURN BAN IN EFFECT

Beginning July 13, 2018 at 8 AM, a fire safety burn will be in effect for the Lake Stevens Fire District to include the unincorporated areas of Snohomish County and the City of Lake Stevens.  This ban will remain in effect until further notice

A STAGE 1 Fire Safety Burn Ban suspends all outdoor burn permits issued by Lake Stevens Fire and Puget Sound Clean Air Agency.

Recreational fires including campfires, cooking fires and fire pits are still allowed.  A recreational fire must be less than 3 feet in diameter by 2 feet high.  Please use extreme caution if you choose to burn.  Do not leave your fire unattended and have a 5 gallon bucket of water or garden hose nearby.
