Emergency Plans

The City of Lake Stevens is committed to preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters that may impact our community. To guide these efforts, the City maintains two key planning documents:

Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP)

The CEMP provides an all-hazards framework for how the City organizes and coordinates emergency response and recovery operations. It outlines roles, responsibilities, and procedures to ensure essential services continue and community needs are met during emergencies.

Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) Annex

The HMP Annex identifies potential hazards that could affect Lake Stevens and outlines strategies to reduce risks and long-term vulnerabilities. The plan is part of a regional effort to build a safer, more resilient community by focusing on prevention and risk reduction.
