Applications for 2026 Comprehensive Plan Docket being accepted through January 31, 2025

Every year, citizens can request amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and its implementing ordinances through a process known as "docketing," outlined in RCW 36.70A.470(2). As detailed in the city's Comprehensive Plan Introduction, docket proposals are accepted through January 31st of each year for consideration during the current year and provide citizens with the opportunity to voice their opinion on how the city should take shape. No citizen-initiated amendments were received by the January 31, 2025 deadline. The deadline for 2026 citizen-initiated amendments is January 31, 2026.
